Veggie Box Subscription FAQs. You have questions, we have answers.

How many weeks is the subscription and when does it start?

30 weeks starting the second week in November 2020.  (So it will go until almost the end of May 2021).

What items will be inside the veggie boxes?

Each week there will be a variety of 6-8 different items of produce.  The contents vary as the season changes.  Here are all the items we have on our crop plan that you will see in your boxes:

Tomatoes (multiple varieties!), Romaine Lettuce, Leaf Lettuce, Peppers, Eggplant, Basil, Leafy Greens (including Swiss Chard and Kale), Squash & Zucchini, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Kohlrabi, Bok Choi, Fennel, Green Onions, Radishes, Strawberries, and more!!!

Each week will have a slightly different combination of produce.  We have planned for a good variety and will not have too many weeks in a row with the same items.  Some of the popular items like lettuces and tomatoes will be in the boxes more frequently.

Where does the produce come from?

All the produce is from our farm!!!  We are USDA certified organic!  On occasion, we may collaborate with a neighboring farm who has an abundance of something good.  If we do utilize these farms, we make sure they are also local, organic, and have awesome produce!

Can I substitute items I don’t like?

No.  We must keep the boxes consistent to keep our handling costs down and our distribution simple.  We hope you understand and can make a friend happy when you give them some veggies if it is something you don’t care for.

What is the cost of the subscription and how do I pay?

The subscription is $35/week per 1 veggie box.  There are 2 payment set-up options.  You can choose to be billed $35 weekly or you can pay one lump sum of $945.  If you pay the lump sum, there is a 10% discount ($35 x 30 weeks = $1050).

For the $35 weekly subscription: You will be charged $35 when you subscribe (to secure your subscription and cover your first weekly box, as we have a limited amount). Then your weekly billing will begin on November 16 2020 and will run for 29 more payments.

What if I subscribe but I decide the veggie box subscription is not a good fit for me?

You can cancel your subscription anytime by notifying us via email.  We do need 2 weeks to make the change in our system.  So once you cancel, you will receive and pay for 1-2 more veggie boxes depending on the day of week we receive the cancellation.  If you need to cancel and you paid the lump sum, we will be able to refund you for the weeks you will not receive veggie box.

What do I do if I will be out of town and not able to pick up my veggie box?

You can send a friend or family member to pick up your veggie box.  They will just need your name and they will need to pick up during regular pick up times.  If you do not have someone to pick up your box, we will donate the veggie box.  You still must pay for the box even if you are not able to pick it up.

When and where do I pick up my veggie box?

We have 2 convenient pick up locations:

When you place an order online for a subscription, during CHECKOUT you will be able to choose which pick up location you would like to set as your pick up location between Clark road and SR-64

All boxes must be picked up between 11am-2pm on Wednesdays.
